We are happy to let you know that the volume New Home, New Herds: Cuman Integration and Animal Husbandry in Medieval Hungary from an Archaeozoological Perspective by our alumna Kyra Lyublyanovics has been published at Archaeopress. The book is based on the author's dissertation that she defended at our department in 2015.

Practices of Coexistence

The volume Practices of Coexitence: Constructions os of the Other in Early Modern Perceptions, published at CEU Press in 2017, features contributions by Medieval Studies alumni. The book is edited by Marcell Sebők (departmental faculty) and Marianne D. Birnbaum (the department's frequent visiting professor).

Elena Dana Prioteasa is a researcher at the Institute of Archaeology and History of Art in Cluj-Napoca. Her research focuses on iconography and medieval painting in Transylvania.
