The CEU Blum Matching Gift Challenge! Donate to CEU

From now until December, thanks to a major donation to the University, every gift to the CEU Alumni Campaign will be matched, dollar for dollar - making each go twice as far!

What’s more, every gift will be counted according to individual donors’ graduating school or department. The school or department with the most donors will win special recognition at CEU's 25th Anniversary Alumni Reunion in May 2016.

On September 8, 2015, Evgeny A. Khvalkov, Senior Lecturer of the Department of History, St. Petersburg School of Social Sciences and Humanities, Higher School of Economics (St. Petersburg), defended his PhD dissertation entitled "The Colonies of Genoa in The Black Sea Region: Evolution and Transformation".

Roman Shlyakhtin Awarded Junior Fellowship in Byzantine Studies

Roman Shlyakhtin (MA ’07, doctoral candidate) was awarded a prestigious Junior Fellowship in Byzantine Studies at the Dumbarton Oaks Research Library & Collection for the coming academic year, 2015/16.
