"It is with great sadness that I report on the death of Terézia Kerny. She was one of the most knowledgeable and helpful art historians of her generation. She was a researcher of medieval iconography, patronage, the cult of the saints as well the historiography of art history.
Our faculty, Marianne Sághy had a public lecture at Ilia State University in Tbilisi, Georgia. Her lecture was on Saint Martin of Tours and the Desert Fathers: Monastic Competition between East and West in Late Antiquity.

The one-week course provides practical training at an intermediate level in Latin and Greek palaeography combined with codicological and diplomatic lectures based on a new approach toward manuscript studies and the latest trends in research. The intensive classes are complemented by visits to manuscript holding libraries and archives. In addition, the course includes a one-day workshop on manuscript and document layouts and the cognitive processes they reflect.
