EASR 2023

December 6, 2022

The Department of Medieval Studies is delighted that three of our students have been accepted to present papers at the "Religions and Technologies" conference of the European Association for the Study of Religion in Vilnus, September 2023.

The conference will contribute to the topic by bringing scholars from across Europe to Vilnius, celebrating its 700th jubilee where its founder, Grand Duke Gediminas invited scholars and scientists, ensuring religious freedom and making Vilnius a hub of religious discourse for centuries to come.

Further the aims of our multidisplinary department, they will be speaking on Italian Historical Perspectives on Religious Practices and Identities between the 13th and the 19th Centuries.

Congratulations Davide Politi, Tinatin Mirianashvili  and Karsten Schuil!
