As part of this year's recruitment events, the Department of Medieval Studies will be hosting a webinar entitled "The Middle Ages and Us." On Friday 2 December at 3pm (CET), our PhD student, Jack Wilson, will be moderating a group discussion of faculty and students as they explore the impact of the medieval world on our modern lives.
The discussion will range from the layout of modern cities, to medieval mentalities and medievalisms in modern culture, and builds on our 2021 and 2022 online conferences.
We encourage all prospective students to attend this online event. Any and all questions will be very welcome.
The webinar will be followed for a Q&A session for prospective MA applicants.
