Tea graduated in art history and Italian language and literature from the University of Zagreb. She has an MA in Medieval Studies from Central European University.
Tea’s continued research of medieval visual culture in the North Adriatic is currently focused on late medieval wall painting in Istria. In addition to her present research, her interests include medieval image theory, late medieval macabre, medieval concepts of emotion and affectivity, and issues of visual representation and reception.
