Stanislava Kuzmová

Stanislava Kuzmová graduated from History and English language and literature at Comenius University in Bratislava (MA) before studying at the Department of Medieval Studies at CEU (MA, PhD).  In 2010 she defended her PhD dissertation which will soon be published in Warsaw under the title Preaching Saint Stanislaus: Medieval Sermons on St. Stanislaus of Cracow, His Image and Cult. She received a postdoctoral research grant at Palacký University in Olomouc in 2011. Since November 2010 she has worked as research fellow at the Department of Medieval Studies at CEU on the OTKA-funded project associated to the ESF EuroCORECODE collaborative research project Symbols that Bind and Break Communities: Saints’ Cults as Stimuli and Expressions of Local, Regional, National and Universalist Identities (http://cultsymbols.net/).
