PhD candidate's successful presentation at a conference in Princeton

November 17, 2016

We are proud that our PhD candidate, Stephen Pow gave a paper at a conference at Princeton! In his own words:

I recently attended the 17th Annual Conference of the Central Eurasian Studies Society, held at Princeton University, November 3rd-6th, 2016.  This year there was a heavy focus on the Mongol Empire with six panel sessions devoted to the topic. I presented my research alongside well-known scholars Donald Ostrowski (Harvard), Timothy May (North Georgia), Ron Sela (Indiana), and Michael Hope (Yonsei University).  There were several of the world's leading experts on the topic at the conference and the exchange of ideas was very fruitful.
