The degree program is built mainly on the existing faculty in different academic units at CEU. Some of the core elements of the program can be taught by heritage experts (theoretical and methodological aspects, as well as the viewpoints of actual practitioners). The MA degree program intends to develop close cooperation with all departments involved in teaching aspects of Cultural Heritage as well as closely related policy and management issues.

The new program also benefits from the activity of various CEU research centers (Center for Eastern Mediterranean Studies, Center for Ethics and Law in Biomedicine, Center for Media and Communication Studies, Center for Network Science, Center for Policy Studies, Center for Religious Studies, etc.) the Open Society Archives and other related organizations (Center for Arts and Culture, CEU Press) of CEU.
