It is our pleasure to inform you that Janos Incze (An Unorthodox Royal Financial Policy? The Pledges of King Sigismund in Hungary, Supervisors: Katalin Szende, Balazs Nagy) and Andor Kelenhegyi (The Construction of Identity and Alterity Through Animal Symbolism in Late Antique Jewish and Christian Tradition, Supervisor: Carsten Wilke) have been awarded the Award for Advanced Doctoral Students 2014-2015.

András Vadas, doctoral student of the Medieval Studies Department has been awarded with the 2014 junior price of the András Kubinyi Foundation for the Study of the Middle Ages. András Vadas received this award for his recently published book “Körmend és a vizek.

Medieval Studies Alumna Wins Literary Prize

Sincere congratulations to Kateřina Horníčková and  Michal Šroněk, whose edited work "Umění české reformace 1380–1620" (The Art of the Bohemian Reformation 1380-1620, http://magnesia-litera.cz/letosni_litera/nominace#b134) was selected by the committee of Magnesia Littera book competition (Czech Republic) as the second best in "scholarly work" category.
